OptionWit is a free, independent options calculator. It runs in your browser, has no accounts, and does not sell or share personal data. The only things that touch your browser are cookieless analytics and the scenarios you choose to save. This page explains each in plain terms.

Your positions and inputs

The calculator runs entirely in your browser. The prices, strikes, and other numbers you type are never sent to or stored on our servers, because there is no server-side database. There is nothing on our side to request or delete.

Saved scenarios and share links

A couple of features keep data, all of it on your own device:

Saved positions are stored in your browser's local storage, on your device only. They stay until you delete them or clear your browser storage.
Share links encode the scenario's numbers directly in the URL, so a link carries the data rather than any server.
Small preferences, such as your light or dark theme and day-count choice, are also kept in local storage so the site remembers them next time.

Analytics (cookieless)

We use two privacy-friendly analytics tools that do not set cookies and do not identify you: Cloudflare Web Analytics for aggregate page counts, and Umami, which also records a few anonymous interaction counts (whether a visit used the calculator, saved a scenario, or loaded one). Neither sets a cookie, builds a profile, nor collects personal data.
